Signed to Cinematic Records, Slayter has been rapping since the young age of 5. Born in Puerto Rico but raised in uptown Dyckman, New York, the rising star reels in the roots in hip-hop and combines it with his own sound and style, spitting that real over trapped out production.
Now, he returns with the visuals for “Mob Shit” featuring Shoreline Mafia’s Fenix Flexin and buzzing [Bay Area rapper Capolow,](https://flaunt.com/content/capolow-putting-on-for-east-oakland) premiering exclusively on Flaunt. Shot in LA at streetwear brand FTP head chef Zac Clark’s house, Slayter said his days on the West Coast served as a source of inspiration.
“I always wanted to tap in with the West Coast, we shot this video at my boy Zac’s crib. He owns one of my favorite clothing brands FTP and everything happened organically,” Slayter states. “We shot it the day after I witnessed Zac purchase a Rolls Royce Truck.”
With the world in flux, Slayter has arguably had his most successful year-to-date in his young career in 2020. In addition to releasing the polarizing, critically-acclaimed _World Got Me Fucked Up, Vol. 1,_ his Cold Game apparel line collaborating with Los Angeles-based Carrots has also garnered a cult following selling out within minutes of drops. “Mob Shit” is the lead single from Slayter’s upcoming project titled _World Got Me Fucked Up Reloaded_, slated to release next month.
