**When did you first start performing and what helped you find your voice and expression?**
I began doing covers at family parties and when I was a child I used to join a choir at a Catholic church which helped me a lot in terms of vocal techniques. Soon after, I started songwriting. In Maranhão, I started dressing as 'feminine' but not as a drag yet. The first time I drag was in Uberlandia (MG) when I was 17. Music is my expression of strength, struggle and empowerment when I sing I feel indestructible.
**What was your process like creating the second installment for _111_ 2 EP?**
It was a team process. '_111_' blends traditional Brazilian musical styles with American and Latin pop aesthetics. I always try to take my culture to every corner of the world. I want everyone to know the context I grew up in and this album represents it in a certain way. At the same time, I want to make contact with other cultures to create a worldwide network that transcends language that bridges the shrinking linguistic and generational gaps in the Brazilian Latin music world.
**Having worked with so many great creatives, what has been a favorite and most memorable collaboration and why?**
I am so lucky to be able to work with so many talented people from all over the world. They are a true inspiration for me. Everyone I work with brings something new, something fresh, a new perspective. They are unique and I am so grateful for all opportunities to be in contact with artists that push me forward.
**How has growing up in Brazil shaped your message and platform as a performer visually and sonically?**
My culture is in my art. My references come from the experiences I have been living, be it sonorous, visuals or even facts that happened to me or to the people I know.
**As a pivotal leader in the LGBTQIA+ community in Brazil and beyond what is the main point you try to impact upon your fans?**
Awareness! I would like everyone to be responsible for their choices, to respect the choices of the others and be conscious of their power that they can be who they want to be.
**Who are some of your muses and heroes?**
My mother is my hero. She is the strongest person I have ever met in life.

**When do you feel the strongest, and is there any advice on how to channel hair, makeup, and looks to empower you?**
I feel powerful when I am on stage. The moment I am singing something magical happens. Concerning makeup and looks, they are an outside expression that helps us to feel empowered. The most important thing is: be yourself always!
**What do you want listeners to take away from your new EP, how have you felt that it has assisted in rounding out your vision?**
111 is an album about my birthday, so it is a celebration album. That's exactly what I wanted to bring with it, a playlist that you play on your birthday. A great mix that represents what I am, what I like and what I consume. So it starts with "Parabéns" and ends with "Rajadão", strolling through various styles on the way.
**What's are you currently working on and what are you dreaming about?**
I am working on my new tour ‘111’ and my dream is to see a more egalitarian and fraternal society.
**With the current pandemic shifting how we connect and communicate, how are you taking care of yourself and those you love?**
Social media could prove useful at a time when many of us are otherwise isolated from one another. We need to stick together and look out for each other during this time. There is a lot of good and so many ways to help each other. We need connection now more than ever. Call your loved ones!
