My morning started with a little hot-girl walk through Central Park. My close friend, Danielle, was joining me at the VMAs and had never been to Central Park, so since we knew it would be a busy day of running in heels, we thought we'd get off to a head start in something a little more comfortable <3

At just 27, Anna Sitar has skyrocketed to digital stardom, amassing over 13 million followers and becoming a fan-favorite on TikTok. Her hilarious “I Don't Want It” series and down-to-earth lifestyle vlogs have earned her a fiercely loyal fanbase and cemented her status as one of TikTok’s fastest-rising stars. Now, she's expanding her empire into fashion, merchandising, and podcasting, using her platform to stay unapologetically real and inspire others to embrace their confidence and creativity. So, it was definitely a childhood dream of hers to attend the MTV Video Music Awards.

Growing up, Sitar was obsessed with making music videos with her sister — everything from Taylor Swift’s “You Belong with Me” to Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love.” Being surrounded by the music industry’s most talented icons was a surreal, full-circle moment. Check out her photo diary from this pinch me moment below.

By the time we were back in the hotel room, it was overflowing with the glam team! My usual glam icons, Hailey (makeup) & Bradley (hair) were ready with all the inspiration and smiles. One of my favorite parts of glam is catching up and sharing all of our drama and life moments with each other; I quite often end up crying my makeup off by accident from laughing so hard with these humans!
Once we made it out of glam, I had a VISION for the photoshoot in my dress before the VMAs. I knew it could be a bit complicated, but I took the creative director role very seriously and it absolutely paid off. Danielle took over the camera and light and Bradley stayed with us gals to make sure my skirt didn’t get stolen by the subway train. SO WORTH IT!
On our way out of the subway, we couldn’t help but stop and capture some final moments on the stairwell entering the subway. Don’t ask me how no one tried to come down the stairs…it's a miracle even I can not explain.
Welcome to the venue! After a nice little hour and a half car ride filled with photo editing and maybe a little nap…we made it to the VMAs! I always get a little nervous before walking the carpet but I swear I channel another version of myself and the confidence radiates! Life’s too short to not be the main character in your own show!
And that's a wrap on the evening. Danielle and I realized that we did not take a single photo together (classic besties moment) so we snapped some final pics before the evening was done. Being a part of the VMAs and witnessing the outstanding performances and endless talent will always be my favorite part of the entertainment industry. Everyone is so empowering, encouraging, and even more inspiring. Thank you for being here! I’m so happy to bring you on this wild ride with me. Until next time <3
