Balenciaga presented their Fall Winter 2024 ready-to-wear collection yesterday in Paris at Les Invalides, soundtracked by high energy rhythms and hypnotic melodies composed by BFRND. 

The brand’s newest line straddles the actual and the artificial, the natural and the electronic, identity and anonymity. Here, illusions invent a new version of reality. Fur coats are treated with resin to appear aged despite being new garments. Dresses and gowns are born out of disparate clothing items, constructed from hoodies or created with lingerie. Models’ faces are obscured by shield sunglasses and beanies pulled down over their eyes.
