Sheer fabric in cream and siena billows. Delicate white lace bunches and drapes its way down elegant forms. A posse of beautiful women—Kaia Gerber, Rianne Van Rompaey, Yar Aguer, Rosalieke Fuchs and Diane Chiu included—gaze serenely yet assertively into the camera in photos that look more like stills from a movie. From them it’s not hard to gather that in Chloé’s Winter 2024 collection, femininity—especially of the free-spirited, authentic variety—is the name of the game.

The luxury French fashion house has always placed an emphasis on unabashed femininity, beginning from the day Egyptian-born Parisian Gaby Aghion founded it in 1952. In pioneering luxury ready-to-wear clothing—before Yves Saint Laurent even had a glimpse of an idea about it—she liberated women from the formal, exclusive constraints of fashion at the time. She did so with the belief that women should dare to be themselves, a concept that, like the brand that was founded upon it, has aged like fine wine.

Chloé is, and always has been, a label designed by women, for women. Chemena Kamali, the newly appointed Creative Director of Chloé, keeps Aghion’s vision of effortless and confident fashion for women alive in the newly unveiled Winter 2024 collection. Kamali herself has had a long tenure at the Maison, having begun there as a part of Phoebe Philo’s team and finding herself drawn back to Chloé again and again over the years. The designs in Kamali’s newest campaign embody the type of woman that Chloé has endeavored to dress or create for decades—always fashionable, always genuine, always rightfully self-assured. “With these images I wanted to capture a cinematic intimacy. The Chloé woman is at the center, her aura, her direct gaze, and personality draw you into an eternal Chloé moment,” Kamali shares of the collection, photographed by David Sims

It’s impossible not to be drawn in. The new collection is marked by the Maison’s signature flou, wide, soft garments in breezy fabrics, while other garments are impeccably tailored to the female body. The pieces crawl with lace, capes and denim, all accented by gleaming gold bangles and necklaces dripping off of wrists and necks. The Chloé Winter 2024 Campaign—Kamali’s first with the fashion house and a resounding triumph for free-spirited, fashionable women across the globe—will be available in Chloé boutiques and on Chloe.com from August 30th.
