The lyrics are almost poetic and heartfelt, making it impossible not to relate on a deep emotional level. "I wrote this song at 5 AM when I couldn't sleep. There was something magical about creating music in the early morning stillness. I finished the production within 20 minutes and recorded the vocals properly later on. The vocal demo was me just whispering into the computer so I didn't wake anyone up." she explains. The lyrics are so personal you can almost hear the emotion in them. The simplicity of the production and the way she recorded the vocals give this sense of intimacy you aren't going to find anywhere else.
