Dom Dolla, Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, brought the alluring mystery of outer space to the Los Angeles State Historic Park last weekend. Transforming the expansive green space into a UFO crash landing site, Dom Dolla's unique set attracted over 40,000 fans over the course of two sold-out shows. Other acts like Armand Van Helden, Torren Foot, Fcukers, Ladies Of Leisure, AYYBO and Associanu played additional support sets. The Australian musician also welcomed Swedish singer Tove Lo to the stage on both nights, performing an epic rendition of their dance/electronic single, "CAVE."

Dom Dolla's L.A. residency will continue this weekend. Framework & Goldenvoice have come together to produce an open-air show presented by Good Fortune in Downtown LA this Saturday, October 26th. Taking place at The Dock at The Historic Sears Building, the architectural landmark will transform into a congregation of house music, Halloween costumes, and history-making.

Dom Dolla has had a busy year. From playing Coachella to headlining a show in Ibiza to selling out two shows at LA State Historic Park earlier this month, it seems he’s been around the world and back again. There’s no better time to catch him while he’s still in LA than this upcoming weekend.

The first-ever music event at the Historic Sears Building, it will be a memorable night for sure. Built in 1927, the art deco-inspired building was once one of the department store company’s major mail-order distribution centers. Now it will be the latest example of Framework’s dedication to transforming non-traditional locations into innovative concert venues.

Over the past decade, Framework has thrown events at Union Station, Chinatown’s Gin Ling Way, and even Hollywood Boulevard for Fisher and Chris Lake’s “Under Construction” party. They also have an upcoming sold-out New Year’s Eve party at the iconic film production house Red Studios. There’s just something about listening to live music at an unconventional venue that elevates the experience tenfold.

Halloweekend only comes once a year. It is a time of dancing, celebration, and supernatural situations – if you believe in that sort of thing. Regardless of your stance on ghosts, Saturday night at the Dom Dolla show will definitely be packed with dance and celebration. Ghosts are a maybe.
