Set against the height of the New York City club era of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Interior has debuted their Fall Winter 2024 Collection at New York Fashion Week with an ode to the city’s famed nightlife of decades past.
The creative and scene-chasing archetypes were on display and celebrated, mimicking characters such as the model, the painter, the yuppie, the socialite, the writer, and other quintessential characters found in club corners. Interior Fall Winter 2024 aims to offer an alternative to the sameness popularized by algorithm-influenced fashion space, featuring broken pinstripes in suited fabric, dreamy chiffon gowns that frazzle at the bottoms, and an intentionally-tattered overcoat that would be otherwise traditional, reflecting a grunge-club-kid.
The presentation featured a soundtrack intended to mimic the muffled sounds of music vibrating through the club walls – evoking a nostalgic, authentic, and invigorating creative expression through these monolithic eras of wardrobe.
