Sound engineer Oliver Richter of XOUNTS, has crafted an immersive sound experience for home environments, transcending the ordinary notion of a mere speaker. XOUNTS stands tall as an obelisk-shaped architectural piece with a captivating surround sound system, igniting vitality, ingenuity, and connectivity. Partnering with renowned rapper and vocalist Redfoo from the celebrated ensemble LMFAO, XOUNTS is on the verge of unveiling Party Rock-inspired panels to elevate the speaker system's visual appeal. Complementing its sleek contours and customizable light features, Xounts offers interchangeable style covers, crafted through collaborations with various artists such as Mötley Crüe,  AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and Champ Medici. More recently XOUNTS hosted RHYTHM N ROAST with Snoop Dog in Los Angeles. 

The German brand also dedicates portions of its artist partnership proceeds to the MusiCares Foundation. This philanthropic organization dedicates itself to safeguarding the health and welfare of musicians by funding emergency and rehabilitation initiatives.

Oliver came to the FLAUNT offices with one of his life-changing speakers to show us what we have been missing. ‍

Unlike traditional soundsystems, XOUNTS puts the power of customization in the hands of the user. With a wide range of interchangeable style covers, including many exclusive band cooperations, lighting extensions and accessories to choose from, each XOUNTS can be tailored to suit individual tastes and preferences. It's a truly personalized allround experience that invites users to express themselves.‍

What process went into its programming?

Our programming process is driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, individuality and a deep understanding of user needs. Our programmers ensure that every aspect of the XOUNTS configurator is fine-tuned to deliver an unparalleled experience.

Why create a speaker in that specific shape and design?

Our XOUNTS soundsystem is designed to get the best out of the music. The conical shape in combination with the specially developed Correx material ensures optimal sound development and distribution. In addition, the unique obelisk-shaped design is a highly symbolic form that has its origins in the birthplace of civilization. The obelisk symbolized a divine connection between heaven and earth - and shouldn't every household have at least one gateway to heaven?

How has passion inspired the way you design and what kind of impact do you hope XOUNTS will create?

Passion is at the heart of everything we do at XOUNTS. It fuels our creativity, drives our innovation, and inspires us to push the boundaries of what's possible. We believe that great design has the power to enrich lives, foster connections, and inspire positive change.
