Lynn wanted to avoid contributing to the polarization of the current political climate, so she decided to “stay in her lane” and use what she knows best as a jumping off point: fashion. Joining with her favorite local and emerging designers, she dressed the likes of Dita Von Teese in order to get others ready to vote. Lynn chose purple, a combination of red and blue, to stand for all different shades of the electorate coming together. She isn’t concerned with who you vote for, but rather that you vote at all, and do it in fashion. Lynn call to action is as follows: 1. Register to vote. 2. Get your favorite look together and take a photo or video of yourself dropping off your ballot at the mailbox or at the polls. 3. Post it to your social media to let everyone know you voted. “During a time where we all feel so powerless, the one and only power we have is to vote. No matter your gender, race, who you love, or the gender of your soul you have that one and only right to inflict change,” says Bree Original Designs. “Our generation needs to stand up and create a government that represents this entire nation. We all need to Vote better, teach better, love better and fight better. This dress is how I fight for a better tomorrow. You better vote!” Photographed by: Rich Royal
