Multi-brand retailer _Departamento_ has just opened the doors of their warehouse retail store in LA's arts district. The 3,000 sq ft space is the perfect spot to pick up pieces ranging from Loewe to Y/Project as well as a host of Japanese cult labels through this unique brick & mortar retail experience. The store, a project by Andrew Dryden and Joseph Quinones, is set up in a gallery format allowing customers to saunter around the space and discover what's there. This way of shopping pushes the boundaries in a similar way that the _Departamento_ website does. Instead of a classical display of products, the brand choses to present their merchandise in an editorial format featuring the natural lighting of LA streets. The goal is to breach the gap between runway style and everyday wear while celebrating LA as the diverse cultural melting pot it is.
The opening event will be hosted by _Departamento_ at Café Société which will include an evening of music by 4THSEX, MAXV, and Paul T from 7-9 pm!
