 * * * Taking place in a former light bulb factory, the Palm Angels Autumn/Winter 2018 show brought out any teenage angst we’ve kept built up. Creative director and founder, Francesco Ragazzi, revealed a whimsical collection for his show in Milan during Men's Fashion Week. The clothing featured intense spikes, and decked out ski masks, making a very introverted statement.  The vision of the show, as told by Ragazzi, was a blend of contrasting influences of unadulterated punk with the American midwest. He used a famous painting by Grant Wood, titled _American Gothic,_ as a pattern on a workwear shirt as well as a dress. The theme defiantly was emblazoned across the bold plaid patterns used in many pieces. American midwest meets gothic angst was showcased on their belts with a studded cowboy essence.   Ragazzi continues to succeed in the Urban Luxury category. His designs are both complex and intriguing.
