 Listening to Kid Moxie (née Elena Charbila) is like falling asleep while watching a dark surrealist drama. Her lyrics are both narratively rich and beautifully absurd. Her voice reverberates icy and sweet through dreamy synthesizers and new wave beats. The filmic quality of Kid Moxie's music is no coincidence. The Greek-born, Los Angeles-based singer has been delving into the roles of dual mythic women--the Film Actress and the Pop Star--since she was young.
