Returning for his second solo exhibit at Regen Projects, Dan Graham presents us with a collection of new works. The exhibition will run from July 7 - August 18, 2018, with an opening reception held July 7, from 2:30 - 5pm. Known heavily for his interest in the social implications of systems, popular culture, and architecture - this can be seen through his creation of installations, conceptual pieces, performances, videos, architectural designs, and prolific writing. With _New Works By a Small-Town Boy_, we can expect photographs, a series of architectural models and video works to provide further context for Graham's ongoing exploration of the built world.  Upon a trip home to his native New Jersey suburb, Graham captured images of diverse architectural styles. Garnished with lawns, topiaries, and shrubs, these images remind us of one of Grant's past projects - _Homes for America_ (1996). Displayed in a sequenced formation on the gallery walls, each image highlights Graham’s interest in serial structures, topology, and systems of information as evident in the peculiar color ranges, materials, and repetitive geometries of the suburban American landscape.
