 Photos courtesy [Red Bull Arts](https://redbullarts.com) commissioned new work by multi-faceted artist and designer [Akeem Smith](https://www.instagram.com/akeemouch/?hl=en) for the Independent Art Fair, which will be on display March 5th-8th. The work by Smith is a site-specific video sculpture that is a part of his forthcoming exhibition _Akeem Smith: No Gyal Can Test._ The video sculpture touches upon his extensive archive of hundreds of hours of Jamaican dancehall footage.  Photos courtesy The new sculpture, entitled _Dovecote_, composed of decorative, welded metal gates, encases a back-to-back video work showing stills of women glancing at the camera.  The full exhibit will debut at Red Bull Arts New York this spring April 10-June 28th
