On Saturday, September 11, Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (aka Wizkid) graced the stage at the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, a free summer-long outdoor concert and performance series that has been around for more than 40 years.
A Nigeria-native, Wizkid has been in the industry for almost a decade, initially making a name for himself with global hits such as "Ojuelegba” and a feature on Drake's 2016 smash single "One Dance." Most recently he collaborated with Justin Bieber for the remix of his hit single “Essence ft. Tems.”
