Woolrich has announced their new campaign for Fall/ Winter 2018, featuring none other than Ms. Lauryn Hill. The multitalented artist, musician, and designer worked alongside with the Woolrich brand and the creative direction of Framework as a part of the fashion campaign.  Ms. Lauryn Hill also happens to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of her iconic album, _The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill_ as part of her musical tour set to travel the world in 2018. With this nostalgia in the air, photographer Jack Davidson brought Hill back to the same streets in Washington Heights where her 1998 "Doo Wop (That Thing)" music video was shot to use the area as the backdrop of the campaign photoshoot. With styling by Mel Ottenberg, the 'American Soul' stills present exclusive Woolrich outerwear including throwback styles such as a limited-edition Arctic parka that was first released in 1972 for Alaskan Pipeline workers. You can also catch Ms. Lauryn Hill in personalized coats complete with collages of herself and her album cover which were screen printed with text and embellishments. A portion of the campaign also includes Hill in a video performance of the song "Ex-factor." The video is accompanied by the artists own text reflecting on american soul and what it means to her.  * * * Written by Louisa Solarz
