Hailing from New York City, the half-Japanese singer-songwriter can do it all, from songwriting to  producing to performing her songs live for her growing fanbase. Drawing from her diverse backgrounds and representing biracial queers all across the world, Lisa carves her own lane singing over boom bap inspired beats as her silky voice does wonders.  Now, she returns with her newest project titled _Still Good_, an 8-track collection of songs ranging from psych to emotive pop and sprinkled with melancholia. The subject matter chronicles topics of empowerment, overcoming isolation, and coming of age—all incredibly essential to surviving this crazy COVID-19 pandemic we found ourselves in. Speaking on the EP, Lisa reveals the songs were created during a period of serious self-exploration. She states, “The themes cover heartbreak and dealing with unrequited feelings, expressing my sexuality, and overall trying to figure shit out. Growing up, I always found solace in music and the way it connects people… I still do. I hope my music serves as a reminder to listeners that you’re not the only one who feels this way. If anyone has that reaction to my music, it’d be cosmic and kind of cool. Thank you for listening.” Listen to the project above and get to know Lisa on a personal level!
