Although its final shows are to occur at the Las Vegas ‘Sphere’ for the nights of February 27th, February 28th, and March 1st and 2nd of this year,  “The End of Genesys” and Anyma are just getting started. Avant-Garde musical artist Matteo Milleri, most popularly known as Anyma, is bringing us back to the cosmos with a 360-degree cinematic musical experience that serves as a stunning portrait of the feats of humanity and technology. With help from Afterlife and Live Nation, Milleri creates an otherworldly live show featuring songs from his two ‘Genesys’ records and musical guests such as John Summit, Peggy Gou, and Mau P.

Massive humanlike androids, breathtaking portraits of space, and ethereal natural landscapes mixed with technology are just some of the things you might experience under the bright, hypnotizing LEDs of the ‘Sphere’ during Anyma’s performance. The visuals are accompanied by Anyma’s transfixing techno music and Milleri himself playing live, standing atop a futuristic tower lined with greenery in the middle of the stage. The integration of the technological and human elements are seamless, as Milleri and his team envision every element of the production, intending to follow the story and themes that Anyma as an artist encompasses. His team for this project is composed of co-creative director Alessio De Vecchi, head creative and stage designer Alexander Wessely, and Woodblock Animation Studio.

Almost a week away from the live show’s return, Milleri tells us, “The final four shows at ‘Sphere’ are the culmination of sound, technology, and emotion amplified as a true, fully immersive experience. Every detail has been thought through to push the boundaries visually and sonically. These final four shows will be unforgettable, and I'm excited to share the complete experience.”

‘The End of Genesys’ reinvents the wheel while also setting a precedent for live shows and experiences to come, not just at the ‘Sphere’ but all across the globe. Milleri and his team's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to the experience have not gone unnoticed, with ‘Rolling Stone’ stating, “the electronic music star has found a distinct way to marry music and technology in his shows, including ‘volumetric capture,’ which creates a three-dimensional sound experience.” All elements of the impressive production take audiences on an exploration of humane and technological relationships, a topic of extreme relevance as our world becomes increasingly digitally and physically interconnected. Milleri does both at once, inviting viewers to indulge in a multi-sensory environment consisting of both humans–and technology.
