The inevitable wear and tear of our luxury items is nothing short of disappointing. Bottega Veneta hopes to eliminate the need for purchasing new items once the older ones give into the weathering that comes with age. In response to this issue, Bottega Veneta announced “The Certificate of Craft” program–a lifetime program on bags.

The program will commence starting this November and will be presented as a physical card with a serial number. CEO Leo Rongone shares, “The Certificate of Craft is born out of a desire to offer our clients a superior service of long-term preservation of their products. We focus on responsible growth. Our intention is to maintain products in use for longer, reducing the need for replacement.” Designed to last forever, Rongone emphasizes the brand's hopes to sustain the life of the bags.
