New York's Lower East Side has been home to some of the world's most innovative and creative minds. LES has a rich artistic history ranging from the Beats to Punk to New Wave. The Ludlow Hotel NYC is situated in the center of this creative mecca, and to preserve the connection between the community and artists, their team started the Ludlow Live Sessions in partnership with Epic Records/ RZ3 Recordings. The intention is to give emerging artists the opportunity to perform on an intimate stage and showcase their talent, reigniting the creative history of the neighborhood.  At the heart of this series is a love for music that connects people from all walks of life. The Ludlow Live Sessions positions The Ludlow as a place where communities can discover new music and culture together. Whether it be an acoustic session, an album listening party, or a conversation with the artist, the sessions will give audiences a glimpse into the industry's future.

We spent last night with Close Encounters cover star Alice Chater for her intimate performance at Ludlow Live Sessions. The hotel’s creative series is supported by She Is The Music, a worldwide nonprofit that advocates for more women in music, from singer-songwriters and producers to engineers and executives.

Special thanks to Epic Records, RZ3 Recordings, Jubilee Records, Mothers Milk, and Mountain Valley Spring Water for helping to create a community experience amidst the city skyline.
