How do you relate to the phrase, ‘every cloud has a silver lining?’

‘Every cloud has a silver lining’ is a way in which I approach certain things in my life. I have come to understand that hardship, pain, loss, and crisis are unavoidable. They are just part of life and, as painful as things can be sometimes, there’s always a gain if you look closer, a lesson to learn and opportunity to grow in every crisis. I truly believe that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger if you stay honest to yourself, fair to others, and perseverant while navigating turbulent waters.
