Bonjour Paris! I am so excited for the Hermès SS25 show today. During Fashion Week, I always start my day with a green juice and a coffee.
Born and raised in Pampanga, Philippines, Kelsey Merritt began her modeling career in Manila, where she used her earnings to help fund her education at Ateneo de Manila University. After earning her degree in communications at the age of 20, she moved overseas to New York City to continue pursuing modeling. Merritt’s career gained swift momentum after moving to the US. In 2018, she became the first Filipino-American to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway show, and the following year, Merritt also became the first model from the Philippines to be photographed for Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue– a feat that further cemented her rising status.
This Fashion Week, Merritt could be spotted attending several runway shows in Paris, including Hermès’ SS25 show, which she dressed in an all leather Hermès look for. The model documented her thoughts and prepping process with a photo diary filled with candid moments.
Eye masks are a must before any show.
Texting friends who are also going to the Hermès SS25 show. Even though Fashion Week is a crazy and fast paced time, it also is one of the few times of the year where all of my friends are together in one city. It makes it so much more fun to do this with your friends!

Hermès is timeless and elegant, which is what I was going for. They’re also known for their leather, so it was really cool that I got to wear an all leather look for their show.

One of my favorite parts about the Hermès venue is the street style. I love seeing what everyone else is wearing!
