MCM, an alternative luxury brand originating from the dynamic city of Munich, honors its long-established relationship with international football by launching an exclusive collection to kick off the European Football Championship hosted by Germany this coming June. The Eurocup Capsule Collection features six unique pieces in shades of black and burnt orange leather, including a jersey-inspired backpack and weekender, a classic cap, and a polo shirt, all embodying Munich’s rich cultural history and its contribution to the modern football scene.
The capsule also pays homage to the world’s most prominent footballers with six limited edition backpacks sporting designs for Germany, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Korea, and Brazil.
To promote their new campaign, MCM is working in partnership with German footballer Jonathan Tah, a renowned center-back for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the German national team. Photographed by Davit Giorgadze and styled by Christian Stemmler, the campaign was shot in Düsseldorf, alluding to the brand’s German roots and capturing Tah’s confidence in his athletic ability. The collection remains loyal to MCM’s bold designs and historical connection with legendary players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Junior, and Lionel Messi.
The Eurocup Capsule arrives in select stores and online in mid-May. To include fans in this pivotal moment for both the brand and football itself, MCM will offer a variety of prizes including match tickets for the championship games and merchandise signed by Tah.
