For its Spring Summer 2024 Show on September 21 during Milan Fashion Week, MM6 Maison Margiela embraces the theme of body language and the subtleties behind the expression of the hand. As the show opened, melted candles dripped from the jewelry on the models, serving as an ode to summer heat. Deep pockets, butcher aprons, ribbons, slits, and ties all came together to make hands the focal point of the collection.

Manipulating the length and width of clothing, the collection features elongated jackets and pants, sleeveless coats, low pockets, and pants with extended crotches. The collection mixes style and functionality with the use of structured silhouettes, denim, and polycotton materials, as well as shirts that have six patch pockets and slip dresses that have one-shouldered aprons.

Accessories in the collection include rounded boots, mary janes that function as kitchen-safe shoes, and clogs. The collection also features paper handbags that can be used as vests.
