Moncler ignited fresh excitement in the fashion world by revealing its newest roster of co-creators for the ever-evolving Moncler Genius project. As the countdown to Shanghai Fashion Week begins on the 9th, this announcement amplifies Moncler’s much-awaited debut in the city. Operating on the belief that everyone is born with innate genius, and that uncreative habits are picked up over time, Moncler Genius is committed to constantly unlocking fresh ideas. Once a straightforward collaboration, the Genius initiative has transformed into a cutting-edge platform for creative synergy, continuing to push the dimensions of fashion by blending art, culture, design, entertainment, music, and sports.

Previously in 2021, MONDOGENIUS came to life in some of the world’s most iconic cities through the Moncler House of Genius pop-ups, transforming London, New York, Seoul, and Shanghai into modern alpine hideaways. These spaces fused Moncler Genius’ signature yellow with sleek, futuristic reflective surfaces. Fast forward to 2023, the brand elevated its annual Genius event, “The Art of Genius,” in London and teamed up with nine co-collaborators like Pharrell Williams and Alicia Keys. And now, on October 19, at the end of Shanghai Fashion Week, Moncler is set to unveil its next act: The City of Genius — a dynamic, immersive metropolis that promises to be a global hub of creativity.

The City of Genius will unfold across a 30,000 square meters area, where distinct neighborhoods — each embodying bold, imaginative themes — will display fresh collections and immersive experiences. With Shanghai, a dynamic hub of innovation, as the fitting backdrop, Moncler Genius positions itself as a groundbreaking stage for creativity, reimagining the art of collaboration and setting a new standard for visionary partnerships. This year's edition is co-crafted by a new wave of global visionaries, featuring Edward Enninful (OBE), FRGMT by Hiroshi Fujiwara, Gilga Farm by Donald Glover, Mercedes-Benz by Nigo, Palm Angels, A$AP Rocky, Willow Smith, and Lulu Li. Adding to the creative extravaganza, legendary brands Rick Owens and Jil Sander will also showcase their boundary-pushing artistry.
