Los Angeles-based artist Sayre Gomez’s work is featured in The Broad Museum group exhibition Desire, Knowledge, and Hope (with Smog) on view now through April 7.

Meanwhile, his solo exhibition Heaven ‘N’ Earth is on view at Xavier Hufkens at their St. Georges gallery in Brussels through March 2.

How might you describe your 25th year of life?

I might describe it as pretty funny—when I was 25 I was in my 2nd year of graduate school at CalArts. Technically I was an adult but still a total baby, I was a total mess haha!
