[Vina Love](https://www.instagram.com/vina_love/?hl=en) is far more than a reality television star, she’s an artist in her own right. You may have seen her on _Growing Up Hip Hop_ on WE tv, but she’s actually been entertaining the masses since she can remember. Whether she’s singing, songwriting, dancing, or performing, the Harlem, New York native has an exceptional knack for rhythm and movement — creating her own genre and style.
Now, she releases her first official debut single Wednesday, 11/11 at 11:11 a.m. titled “Owe Me,” premiered exclusively on Flaunt. Pairing the heartfelt record with a sensual visual, which sees Vina performing the record paired with choreography and rainy nights, “Owe Me” is a sure cure for the quarantine blues. The release of “Owe Me,” comes just days after signing a partnership deal and exclusive recording contract with one of the biggest independent labels in the business, Cinematic Music Group. Cinematic Founder/CEO Jonny Shipes told us about the first time he met Vina, stating, “ “the day I met her, I knew a superstar had walked in the room. When I heard her voice I told Abby B (Cinematic A&R) to get the deal done. I’m very excited to see her career take off.”
Speaking on the song, Vina states, “‘Owe Me’ is the first song I recorded with Cinematic, the first beat I heard after signing. I went in the booth and freestyled with all of those emotions I had inside, that’s how we came up with the hook. The beautiful and talented Bayli came and added her sauce on it and now we have a soul banger. When people hear ‘Owe Me’, I want them to walk away knowing it’s okay to explain how you feel. It’s okay to tell someone you deserve and want better without feeling guilty.”
Vina, who is one of the youngest black women in music history to own her own label in Amore Love Records, is currently working hard piecing together an all original album with a montage of versatile producers from all over the States. Watch “Owe Me” above and know your worth!
