Ebony and Denise are better known as Team2Moms. They create videos about being a multicultural two-mom family, raising three beautiful kids, whose mission is to "normalize" LGBTQ+ parenting, all while spreading love and positivity. **What is your favorite place to create TikToks and why?**
Our favorite place to create TikToks is in our home. Mainly because our followers connect a lot with us in our every-day living environment. We consider it as an open-door to our daily lives and an insight to how we parent.
**What's important about PRIDE to you and why?**
What is important about PRIDE is being proud and showing your authentic self. This is important because, through the celebration of PRIDE, this is a time to unite continue to fight for equality.
**Which current injustice is important to you and why?**
Though all injustices are important, if we had to choose one to focus on, it would be the inequalities our black trans community is facing. This is important because we feel they are one of the most unprotected groups.
**If you could create your own superpower, what would it be?**
If we were to create our own superpower it would be the power to see all things equally.
**Why do you think self-expression is more important than ever?**
Self-expression is more important than ever because it allows people to distinguish themselves from others. To be fully expressed is really knowing who you are, expressing who you are. Not comparing yourself to others. Accepting yourself for who you are is really important now than ever.
**What's something often misunderstood about you?**
Something often misunderstood about us, especially on social media, is that we're perfect.
**How do you see the future as it relates to technology? What's going to change?**
So we asked our daughter Olivia this question. She says the future holds no cellular devices and no wifi. We will communicate differently in the future, something embedded in us.
**Is it ok to change your mind sometimes? How come? What's the context?**
It is definitely ok to change your mind sometimes. Whether it's a career change, your sexuality, or something as simple as what to eat, it is ok. A change that will benefit oneself in a better way and make YOU happy is what is important.
**Give some advice to the you of last year?**
Some advice I would give us last year would be to prepare ourselves for 2020. We had no idea this was coming. Make sure to get some sleep and ALONE time because 2020 will be one to remember.
**What are three things that make you feel fortunate?**
Three things that make us feel fortunate are our kids, moms, and our online family.
