Maria Fox Giambrone, American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and coffee owner made her fortune in the beverage industry where she grasped the opportunity four years ago to sell a lineup of beverages. Her drinks are said to stimulate areas of the brain leading to an elevation in happiness, increased focus, better mood and reduced stress levels. The icing on the cake? It also assists in weight management. And now she is picking up her bags with her husband and three children to move from the Big Apple to St John’s, Florida for more space to accommodate her growing family’s needs. This also helps with her business, with a more spacious home office for operations. With the decision to build from the dirt up, the move into her new home took 14 months to build. This newly completed home is a personal testament to what can be achieved with hard work, grit, and the mentality of achieving the “American dream”. This hunger was especially strong for her as a mom providing for her family - being a mom of three children under ten years of age and a wife to an unwell husband who’s fortunately now recovered. Maria pulled off her success while going through turmoil and sharing her journey has provided much inspiration and direction for moms and wives across the nation. So I spoke with Maria to get the full scoop. First, to finish up on the hot topic at hand, building Maria’s new home wasn’t an easy process as it happened during the pandemic - materials were scarce and laborers were in short supply to complete the build. However, the process of designing was fun and she’s currently having lots of joy decorating (although most of the furniture is on backorder for over six months). According to Maria, it’s exciting making her office feminine with pink walls, girly art, and giving everything an overall feminine touch from the lights to the desk and chair. “My family is blessed to be where we are and with what we have. Our entire home in NYC could fit in our living area now.” Congrats Maria! Here’s how the quick interview went: Maria, what is it that you do, and why is now the time for your company to exist? I share hope for a promising future. People now, more than ever, need an income from home. Because of the climate in the world, with brick and mortar businesses opening and closing because of lockdowns, people need to create an income that can be consistent and on their own terms. We sell products that help to elevate your mood and make you feel good, which is what everyone needs now. Couple that with a winning business and we are changing lives all around the world mentally, physically and financially. Why are you qualified to solve these problems? With various life and health coaching certifications, I utilize my education in helping others. And I combine life experiences as well as my marketing background to give my audience a well-rounded approach to creating the business and lifestyle they desire. If you weren’t building your company, what would you be doing? If I weren’t building my business, I’d be taking on more philanthropic endeavours. At the moment, how do you measure your company’s success? What are your metrics? By industry standards, we are doing amazing. By my own standards (which I’m always hard on myself) we can always be doing better. Striving to reach the next step, hitting that next goal is always in my vision, so I’m always looking for the next “win” for us. In a few sentences, what’s your best tip for Moms looking to land more success? Find something that you are passionate about, and learn how to monetize it. For me, I’ve always done coaching in some respect since I was 13, so helping people is what I’m passionate about. But more specifically, being able to change lives in both health and wellness and financially is what fuels me now. Being able to help moms replace their husband’s income, bring home an amazing salary and not have to miss any of the “mom moments” is what keeps me going. So dig deep within. What do you love? What sets your soul on fire. Then center a business around it. What’s most exciting about your traction to date? When we got started four years ago, we knew the business was going to do well, but we had no idea just how well. We have helped transform so many lives, and have given so many people a purpose. And we have created an opportunity unlike any other. The fact that we have helped so many people is something I’m extremely proud of. Where can you see your company heading this year? In the upcoming year, with global expansion and new product implementation, I see millions of lives being changed! Finally, an interesting question to end with, what’s your biggest threat to success? My biggest threat to success is my mindset. Business is challenging. Working with different people and different personalities is challenging. You have to be 100% about learning and growing each and every day. And that includes working on self-development and mindset. Your mindset will make or break a business, so I make sure that each and every day, I prime my brain to work for me and not against me.
