The “Izzy Fleece”
[LCD](https://www.shoplcd.co) recently hosted the launch of NY based label [Sandy Liang's](https://www.sandyliang.info) latest offering, the “Izzy Fleece” jacket named after LCD founder Geraldine Chung’s pup Izzy who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The colorway was a new one to add to Liang’s hyper culty status making it fleece of the city. Designed with a reference point of those daddy staples, the Patagonia fleece, the jacket has become a go to of the fashion set for its playful coloring and classic design.
To celebrate LCD hosted a puppy party at their [ROW DTLA](https://rowdtla.com) location featuring [The Kind Aura](https://www.thekindaura.com) photo readings which read attendee’s puppy’s auras. Chung explained the union between design and well being, “LCD is known for embracing color and I wanted to organize something unique and fun to honor the joy that our pets bring into our lives. Aura photography seemed to be the perfect way to combine our love of color, our joy in being around fashion and our obsession for our pets.”
The Izzy fleece marks the third exclusive drop for Liang and LCD. The store has long championed the brands stocking the label since early 2015 fast becoming friends.
