In Alexander McQueen's newest menswear collection, creative director Sarah Jane Burton OBE explores power and beauty through experimenting with cut, proportion, and by diverting expectations of classic menswear silhouettes. The motif of orchids also plays a key role in the collection; the cultivated flower reflects the tailoring. The flower is printed, woven, and embroidered on several of the garments. This reflects how the classic silhouettes have been taken, and reimagined in explosive, yet precise ways. The collection debuted at New York Fashion Week, and will be available in stores August 2023.
