Yesterday evening Banana Republic commemorated the launch of BR Home, the brand’s collection of everything interior including furniture, art, and lighting, all designed by the world’s leading artisans. Held in a private celebration at the brand’s Melrose store location, figures of Los Angeles’s architecture, art, entertainment, and interior design scenes gathered to enjoy premiere cocktails and elegant hors d'oeuvres. Guests in attendance included Olivia Wilde, Adrien Brody, Riley Keough, and Rashida Jones, who strolled the displays of bedroom, living, and dining pieces throughout the first floor of the store to discover live DJ sets from Mia Moretti and Mei Kwok on the roof of the building.
The 5,000-square-foot standalone storefront was designed and built in collaboration with architect Stefano Casati, who created the idea’s of BR Home’s exterior with an AI concept he developed himself. Banana Republic welcomes BR Home to the public beginning Friday, September 22, at 8552 Melrose Avenue.
