Burberry presented their Autumn/Winter 2023 collection in London on Feb. 20th, 2023. The collection marks Creative Director Daniel Lee’s debut collection with Burberry. The collection is inspired by Burberry tents from the late 19th and early 20th century, and explores their historical connection with outdoor exploration. The show space, which was also designed by Lee, reinforces those ideals, and creates a coziness that provides warmth and protection from the elements.

The collection includes a variety of pieces that aim for classic Burberry functionality and style, and the outdoor aesthetic Burberry is known for. Chunky aran and argyle jumpers include classic British motifs, such as the English Rose, and trench coats are redesigned with softer silhouettes. Coats and shoes alike utilize faux fur and shearling, which all in all come together to create a cozy, functional, classically Burberry collection.
