There are not many streets as busy as London’s Park Lane. Lined with luxury boutiques and restaurants and adjacent to the historic Hyde Park, the boulevard attracts a bustling stream of travelers from across the globe. Guests among the likes of Cary Grant and Barbra Streisand have frequented Park Lane’s glamorous hotels, underscoring the grand Georgian architecture and high-end feel. Amidst the boulevard’s traffic, the calming quality of home and natural greenery can feel like a lengthy car ride away.

Enter COMO Metropolitan London, which opens a window into a serene, natural environment while remaining just a short walk from the city's lively shopping neighborhoods. Nestled between Park Lane and Hyde Park Corner, the boutique hotel offers 144 rooms and suites embellished with hues and textures reminiscent of London’s nature; while maintaining the light, curated feel of a timeless luxury hotel. It was among London’s first hotels to embrace contemporary design when it opened in 1997, cultivating a sophisticated, but welcoming, environment.

On the ground floor, the lobby welcomes guests with a palette inspired by the flora of Hyde Park, and an eclectic mix of furniture sourced from the United Kingdom and Italy. American walnut and sycamore timbers carry from the lobby to the entrance of all rooms and suites, with room numbers engraved on every door panel. Rooms are designed for the modern lifestyle, with 400-thread Egyptian cotton sheets and interactive TVs, while maintaining a relaxed nature, with expansive views of Hyde Park and rainfall showers.

For longer stays, the 10 Brick Street Residences allow guests to immerse themselves in the heart of the British metropolis. They feature an elegant courtyard, emulating a townhouse experience while benefitting from the facilities and services of COMO Metropolitan London. The three newly-renovated Hertford Street Residences offer the same modern comfort, with open layouts suitable for small gatherings and family lounging. With the ability to step out of the apartment and right onto the vibrant London streets, guests can feel at home even half a world away.

Like its sister COMO hotels and resorts, COMO Metropolitan London prides itself on cuisine. Guests can begin their day with a fruitful breakfast at The White Room, and later indulge in original Japanese-Peruvian cuisine at Nobu, led by Executive Chef Mark Edwards. The hotel’s own COMO Shambhala Cuisine, driven by organic produce and raw foods, manifests on lobby and breakfast menus and the 24-hour room service.

COMO Metropolitan London’s soothing qualities are no better summed up than by the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape spa and gym, boasting an array of award-winning wellness treatments. With reflexology, acupuncture, massages, facials and more, the spa ensures guests can unwind after parading the London streets. The spa is complemented by a fully equipped gym and six treatment rooms, including two rooms for couples and steam rooms.

As a London hotspot, the hotel is no stranger to events, from cocktail parties, to fashion shows, to weddings. With five meeting and event spaces, guests can hold large gatherings that emulate the elegance and comfort of individual rooms. The COMO Metropolitan London’s attentive services make for a seamless event equipped for the diverse demands of city life.

COMO Metropolitan London's own versatility, reflective of the city's nuanced charm, spotlights the space among its neighboring luxury hotels, and promises every guest their ideal London experience.
