After unveiling the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition, H. Moser & Cie. reintroduces a captivating new variant in pink, timed perfectly with the 2024 Miami Grand Prix. Echoing the vibrant pink of its A524 livery, this release celebrates the dynamic designs of the single-seater raced by H. Moser & Cie.'s partner, the BWT Alpine F1 Team. Its use of synthetic ruby not only adds intensity but also underscores the timepiece’s elegant and logo-free design, highlighting its aesthetic purity and uniqueness.
The watch features a skeletonized main dial at the 12 o'clock position, crowned with a small domed dial made of synthetic corundum. This material, also known as ruby, follows the curve of the sapphire crystal and is dyed in BWT's signature pink—a vivid and unmistakable hue that gains additional brilliance from the clarity of the corundum. The mechanical heart of the watch, the automatic caliber HMC 811, is fully skeletonized, revealing its intricate workings from both the front and the back. The back displays a large openworked gold rotor in motion. The movement's finesse is further enhanced by a one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, featuring a blue cage bridge that coordinates with the hands and a cylindrical balance-spring, adding a touch of mechanical poetry to its sophisticated design.
In addition to the limited run of 20 watches, an additional piece will be produced and auctioned for charity. The proceeds will benefit AQUA PEARLS, a private non-profit foundation dedicated to improving global access to clean drinking water, alleviating poverty, protecting the environment, and fostering sustainability.
New H. Moser’s x Alpine Pink Watch for the Miami Grand Prix is limited to just 20 pieces. Available solely on their website.
