On October 10th, Loro Piana celebrated the reopening of its iconic boutique on Rodeo Drive. The Italian brand welcomed luminaries among the likes of Sarah Paulson, Michelle Williams, Kerry Washington, and Elizabeth Olsen into its 90210-based three-story shop, covered in a velvet red glazed tile with expansive, inviting windows. The launch paid homage to those who built the Italian luxury brand's base, and emphasized engagement with customers in a shopping experience that honors quality, craftsmanship, and sophisticated design.
New design in the shop represents the Loro Piana dedication to core elements, with a focus on warm minimalism and use of wood details inspired by Carbottino wood. The approach to the new design richly communicates the Maison's expansive heritage along with the founder Sergio Loro Piana's legacy in mind.
The ground floor of the shop has undergone a complete transformation. It now features a modern layout of premium leather goods and footwear in a neatly ridden style. Exploring deep into the shop, wood lined walls neatly organize scarves, bags, and hats among shelves. Adjacent to this, glass displays showcase a beautiful array of sunglasses, watches, and necklaces, all crafted by the renowned Italian brand.
Making way up to the second floor of the recreated shop, stunning tactile sculptures made by textile artist Sheila Hicks decorate the walls. The boutique now also offers a special terrace, set exclusively for VIP clientele request where refined woodwork wholly decorates the area in champaign hues and Loro Piana exclusive "Interior" set for private appointment work, and lounging.
The new shop's grand reopening celebrates a century of craftsmanship for the Maison, a testament to the brand's consistent pursuit of delivering an unprecedented luxury experience through clothing.
