This week, Marina Moscone brought her audience to The Ritz-Carlton, New York, NoMad to showcase her FW25 collection which demonstrates classically feminine looks suited for the urban woman. The collection, which is heavily inspired by British painter Cecily Brown and her work between abstraction and figuration, speaks to Moscone's design process primarily involving soft draping amongst defined tailoring. Founded in 2016, Moscone prioritizes a tactical approach to her designs, dedicating herself to functional garments suited to the body. Fabric pairings and contrasted styling in this collection explore the fluidity of the modern woman.

Outwear includes a fur coat and a green pinstripe basque coat, giving the collection a luxurious edge. The satins and pinstripes are the most distinct fabrics used in the collection, providing a rich opulence that's lavish and wearable. Slip dresses are fused with elements of menswear pieces like collars traditionally found on button-down shirts, further reiterating the fluidity of the garments. These more feminine pieces provide audiences with the feminine side of the collection, demonstrating the multi-dimensionality of the New York woman. Against the backdrop of the New York City skyline, Marina Moscone presented a sultry and sophisticated Fall collection.
