Each stitch in a woman's closet holds memory, the ballet slippers from first grade, the raggedy t-shirt from summer camp, all cover the body with skins made to transform. Miuccia Prada gives women the opportunity to define themselves through their clothes, and the Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2025 show gives the girls something to say. Since Miu Miu’s conception in 1992, Muiccia Prada has become a matriarch of women's fashion. The unique and distinct femininity found within the Miu Miu design world gives womenswear an elegance seen through the woman's eye. The ongoing exploration of femininity showcased by Miuccia Prada supports an incredibly strong design identity. It’s no secret that the Miu Miu girls have stretched far and wide across the globe, with an appreciation for the deeply truthful expressions of femininity.

This season's collection focuses on shape, requiring an understanding of the body and its movement to engineer and construct different images. The collection emphasizes the importance of garments seen externally and garments underneath the surface. Strength and fragility co-exist in the collection. Delicate fabrics are paired with strong accessories and structured lines. The styling is purposefully layered, with some looks clearly showcasing the ways that the undergarments are shaping the looks. In typical Miu Miu fashion, simplicity speaks volumes; textures and materials are chosen with a major consideration for movement, and intentions of amplifying a feminine perspective are clear. There’s always something quite familiar about Miu Miu collections, as if each look already has its place in our closets.

It wouldn’t be a Miu Miu show without an iconic runway cameo. This season Sarah Paulson made her runway debut and walked alongside pop-culture favorites like Nettspend, Amelia Gray, and Gigi Hadid. This long-standing tradition carries Miu Miu’s commitment to presenting reflections of life and culture on the runway, connecting fashion to the rest of our cultural world. Hosted in the Palais d’léna, yellow moiré filled the space, adding a bold statement to complement the collection. Seen in front row was Sydney Sweeney, Emma Corrin, A$AP Rocky, Anora star Mark Eydelstheyn, and Emma Mackey.
