For Peder Cho, innovation is at the core of what he does. The former accountant turned designer has forged a name for himself in upcycled fashion, experimenting with methods of construction, transforming the old into the new, making his upcoming collaboration with Honda’s Twitch channel, Honda Dreamlab, a harmonious union. Honda Dreamlab is the home to the series ‘Dream it Yourself,’ a show where artists attempt to bring a creative vision to life in under 100 minutes.
In their upcoming episode, Cho is put to the test in their first-ever live DIY episode taking place at DesignerCon. Streaming live on Twitch and NTWRK at 4PM PST on December 15, Cho will take on the challenge of constructing his 1 of 1 Honda Patchwork Chair in under 100 minutes, exhibiting his creative process and walking us through what it looks like to bring a vision to life.
Inspired by the racing style of the Honda Civic Type R and Honda Rallye Red, Cho’s capsule collection includes a bucket hat, utility vest, and keychain. Crafted from quilted nylon in the iconic red, the bucket hat and utility vest bring a sleekness comparable to Honda’s models. Sporting the same shade of red that will be available for upcoming 2024 models, the leather keychain is a shrunken take on the Utopia puffer bag with a woven Honda DreamLab label.
Stop by the NTWRK booth at DesignerCon to view the collection and tune in on December 15th at 4 pm EST / 7 pm PST to watch the live Dream It Yourself episode with Cho on Honda's DreamLab Twitch channel or NTWRK.
