It’s a display of reconstruction, the Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2025 Collection; balancing the known with the unfamiliar, and finding harmony in the incongruous. Deterring from the Fall/Winter 2024 Collection—conservative in color and lacking in pattern—the Spring/Summer 2025 Collection employs novel elements of craft, color, and print, while also staying fundamentally true to the brand’s minimal ethos.

In shades of navy and white, the collection carries a playful, wayfaring spirit. A motif of stripes, in a nod to the nautical theme, complements flowing silhouettes reminiscent of billowing sails. Another dynamic feature—frayed, undone fringe, sometimes pierced with grommets—is also interspersed throughout the collection, bringing newfound movement into otherwise stagnant pieces.

Everywhere, a subtle juxtaposition is evidenced; abstract prints with solids, knits with silk organza, mules and boots with sandals and slippers. True to the spring season—a time of rebirth and transformation—the Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2025 Collection takes the brand in a new direction; with a quiet confidence like never before.
