Los Angeles based designer and multidisciplinary artist Reese Cooper released his Autumn/Winter 2025 collection which showcases his philosophy of abstraction in outdoor garment design. Traditional utility silhouettes are subverted through Cooper’s sleek and unconventional approach to garment construction. The multidisciplinary artist has worked across multiple mediums including photography, film, and furniture. His visual understanding of composition through different mediums shines through in his design, showcasing his ability to create garments that are functional, versatile, and chic. 

The designer takes inspiration from American vintage which is seen in this collection through the utility jackets included in the collection, reminiscent of American workwear and military styles. Equipped with multi-functional assets like large pockets and adjustable bungee cording the garments encapsulate the ethos of Cooper's design which is focused on creating garments that have longevity and functionality. Cooper has an acute understanding that the importance of outerwear design lies in a designer's ability to make something essential and timeless. The colors in the collection feature an array of beautiful neutrals emulating the Northern Californian landscapes. Stand-out pieces include an asymmetrical quarter zip hoodie and utility pants equipped with ribboned embellishments and cargo pockets. 

Cooper's sustainability practices align well with the approach to his artistry. While creating designs made for exploration and functionality in nature and beyond he follows up with a partnership with the One Tree Planted initiative. For every item sold by Cooper a tree is planted in the California Forests to promote environmental restoration.
