Everything is larger in NYC, including the Saint Laurent store. With no hesitation, YSL rings familiarity, there's no question about that, so expansion on its presence in the big city comes as no surprise. Making its way to the Meatpacking District, the store will stand tall at two levels, making the new store its absolute largest. The overall concept is untamed yet polished thanks to YSL’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello's new design paradigm. Harmony comes quite easily when hues seem to marry each other. Saint Laurent demonstrates no trouble, with refined spaces the fashion house wields an utter sense of control.
At the bare sight of the store, a mix of raw materials including concrete and marble is clear in usage. However, there is intention beyond its walls and floors with a vintage furniture touch from Gustav Stickley, Richard Meier, and Edward Wormley. The architect's archive works have managed to add warm brown tones of comfort.
Located at 72 Gansevoort Street, the house’s complete offering will be available – all men’s, women’s, shoes, accessories, handbags, and fine jewelry galore included!
