Tailored yet loose, dynamic yet uniformed, classic yet refreshing, are all applicable words to describe the Saint Laurent Summer 2024 collection that just debuted for Paris Fashion Week. Showcasing its utilitarianesque collection, the models donned neutral and sensible looks as well as practical jumpsuits and safari jackets made of cotton and linen, accessorized with leather gloves and aviator sunglasses.

The collection had the effortless ease reminiscent of a working woman, such as Amelia Earhart and Adrienne Bolland, who both served as inspirations for creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Vaccarello portrays a return to roots and simplicity–daytime looks that can be seen as glamorous and couture-ridden, a belt cinched at the waist and a high heel ever present–reflecting the qualities the Saint Laurent woman is known for.

The refinement this collection possessed was aided by a modern and minimal setting, offering views of the Eiffel Tower, which contributed to the notorious elegance associated with Saint Laurent.
