Settecento—a brand-new restaurant experience from Global Dining Inc.’s Lucian Tudor—collaborated with Palisades Charter High School for a grand opening with a purpose. The celebration doubled as a fundraiser for wildfire relief efforts with celebrity guests in attendance such as Lukas Gage, Madelyn Cline, Storm Reid, Jordan Chiles, and Sabrina Claudio. This star-studded event was held in the Maguire Gardens of Downtown Los Angeles, and featured an artisanal Italian cuisine from Executive Chef Francesco Angri and Pizzaiolo Mario Orsini. Included on the menu were truffle and mushroom pastas, seafood linguine, and Sicilian caponatas.
Showcasing their love and commitment to the city, Settecento’s grand opening partnered with Palisades Charter High School to raise money to give to those affected by the wildfires. Celebrities in attendance helped raise funds to give back to the school, its students, and families in need of vital assistance. Settecento reminds us how beautiful and caring the LA community is, and is a perfect restaurant for those who want a delicious meal with a welcoming atmosphere.
Besides Settecento’s deluxe Italian cuisine, the restaurant features handcrafted Italian cocktails like the Tuscany-inspired Negroni. The actual bar itself features custom Italian imported marble, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor of the restaurant includes floor to ceiling wine cellars, antique books and a chandelier made of instruments. Currently, the only restaurant in Downtown LA to feature live outdoor music, the grand opening highlighted this feature by having a live five-piece Italian band play the event. Other fun aspects of the night included a luxuriously upgraded raffle, a beautiful champagne tower, and plenty of delicacies for guests to pass around.
