On the night of January 29th, 2025, amid a bustling New York City, the Whitney Museum invited numerous designers, artists, and media personalities to put on their sunglasses and bring out the sequins for none other than a classic disco. Celebrating its annual Art Party, the Whitney Museum transformed into a place of dancing, drinks, and mingling with a multi-disco ball centerpiece. Entertainment and amenities ranged from a shot bar curated by Maestro Dobel® Tequila to a gold-centered, dazzling scent room provided by Aēsop. In addition to the party, guests were welcomed to experience some of the museum's current galleries, including ‘Edges of Ailey.’

Attendees ranged from actresses to designers to media personalities and models alike. Some notable names and faces include Mischa Barton, Jakie Goldschneider, Olivia Palermo, Jessel Taank, Natalie and Dylana Lim Suarez, Dianne Brill, Cynthia Rowley, and Julia Haart. The guests came dressed in full disco attire, prioritizing sequins and sparkles, with some dawning more flexible wear ready to give it their all on the dance floor. DJ sets were provided by The Muses, Griffin Maxwell Brooks, and Jenny Albright, transporting the guests all the way back in time to Studio 54.

The Whitney Museum’s Annual Art Party supports the Whitney’s postgraduate Independent Study Program. The program focuses on nurturing and uplifting aspiring young artists pursuing studio art, general art studies, or art curation. Hundreds of thousands of dollars had been raised by the night's end.
