The Los Angeles Review of Books (LARB) and Hauser & Wirth Publishers are collaborating to premiere a brand new literary fair, LITLIT, in Los Angeles this summer. LARB, a nonprofit created to supplement the disappearance of newspapers in the digital age, is reinventing the world of book reviews and Hauser & Wirth Publishers are pushing the world of art further through curating unique, avant-garde pieces of modern and contemporary art.
They are the perfect partnership to host a literary fair with over 20 independent booksellers, publishers, and cultural creators from and around the Los Angeles area. Notable Publishers in attendance include Rare Bird, Not a Cult, and Tia Chucha. The event aims to explore the themes of activism, art and absurdity through interactive interviews and panel discussions with publishers, authors, artists, and community organizers. Attend this free event and expect to explore the world of innovative, community-building work through a diverse lens.
