Nostalgia meets luxury fashion in [Thierry Lasry](https://www.thierrylasry.com/us/)’s new collaboration with [Barbie](https://barbie.mattel.com/shop), creating a limited edition collection of eyewear to celebrate Barbie’s 60th anniversary. The French designer has been using a concept of “futuristic vintage” as a jumping off point for his designs since 2006, and a partnership with the iconic Mattel doll seems like a natural marriage. Blending the vintage fashion and nostalgia with futuristic reimaginings of classic designs. The collection features the “Glamy” oversized cateye Barbie frames and the “Galaxy” thick rectangular Ken frames. The collection has four different collectors box sets, three of which coming with different Barbies to accompany the “Glamy” frames and one coming with a Ken for the “Galaxy” sunglasses.
