If you stop to look and listen with intent, the never-ending pulse of Nashville’s creative history can be heard and felt throughout each pocket of the city. Each new architectural addition speaks to the told and untold stories of the past, simultaneously writing a new narrative for the future. Music city’s new boutique hotel, Drift Nashville, reflects this idea in totality.
While creating new standards for the future, Drift Nashville nurtures the city’s creativity and honors its past. Sited in a revitalized historic inn built around 1965, the hotel pays homage to its past with both its location and a special nod to Elvis, who frequented the historic inn, with a golden toilet located in one of the penthouse suites.
In an effort to support the continuation of Nashville’s creative history, Drift Nashville features timelessly stylish rooms, a lobby and ground-floor café, as well as a cocktail bar, all adorned with unique pieces of art created by local stars. Food and drink offerings designed by notable Nashville tastemaker Alexis Soler. Not to mention, the property includes a relaxing and tastefully designed outdoor area with an in-ground pool, bar, and local food truck.
As stated by Alexis Soler, “With Drift Nashville, we wanted to integrate into our community by showcasing and supporting our local artists and makers to create a truly unique and thoughtful space,” says Alexis Soler, a Nashville entrepreneur and designer who also developed the hotel’s food and bever- age concept and is one of the Originals along with TMC Hospitality’s founder Philip Bates. “Drift Nashville highlights the talents of the people who make our city special. It is through the art, design, food and drink, and hospitality that sets the tone for travelers to begin their exploration of our city.”
The thoughtfully designed hotel is located in the heart of the East Bank, a waterfront district east of the Cumberland River.
