As a Los Angeles-based publication with many connections to the community, we stand by the first responders, individuals, families, entities and organizations coping with the traumatic and unprecedented grief experienced over the past week.

We also stand by those powering the outpouring of generosity and advocacy we've witnessed as a response.

As Angelenos, we believe in the imperative of creative collaboration as a means of community, commerce, and healing.

While this tragedy is still in its very early stages, we look forward to supporting what we know will be a remarkable effort by the city of LA to get back on its feet.

Should you need support, or desire to lend your own support, we offer a list of trustworthy resources by organizations and individuals putting ongoing efforts forth to help our community rebuild.
